Good Evening,
I am calling you this evening to inform you of a situation that occurred amongst the 6th grade students today. Beginning during lunch, a rumor began to circulate amongst the 6th grade students that there was a threat of violence that would take place tomorrow, February 3rd. After a thorough investigation that included law enforcement, it was determined that the rumor was meritless and that no threat to the safety of AFC students was made.
We encourage you to speak with your children about the importance of reporting rumors of threat to an adult immediates as our student's safety is always our number one priority.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Best Regards,
Michael Lindy, Superintendent
