#AFCMusic 💛🖤💛🎶 Our first ever Virtual Route 72 Solo Competition wrapped up judging over the weekend! AFC "hosted” four schools in our conference who turned in junior high and middle school solos in the categories of woodwinds, brass, percussion, piano, and voice. There were a total of 49 entries; 7 from AFC!! Please give a big congratulations to our AFC students who ALL received a Division I rating!!! 💛🖤💛🎶

Each 7th and 8th grade basketball player will be given 2 tickets as well as fan guidelines to allow parents/fans to attend tomorrow's game against Oregon. Siblings will only be given 2 tickets total because of space constraints. The game will also be live streamed on a You Tube channel. The live streaming option can be found on afcschools.net in the upper right corner of the page. The You Tube option under AFCMS Sports will get you to the game. The page may have to be refreshed if there is nothing there.
We ask that parents/fans abide by the guidelines provided.

To watch the high school boys' basketball game at Forreston tonight, you will need to go to nfhsnetwork.com, search Forreston High School. This requires a subscription to use. The subscription cost is $10.99/month or $69.99/year. This subscription will allow you to watch any game broadcast on the NFHS network, including the high school girls' basketball game tomorrow night.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
Due to circumstances beyond our control, tonight's, 2/17, high school girls' basketball game will now be played in the junior high gym at AFC Jr/Sr HS. 2 adult fans per athlete will still be allowed. Fans are asked to not arrive more than 10 minutes before the start of the game and be sure to have their ticket with them. Fans will enter through door #1 (door by main office). Athletes will be getting their 2 tickets and guidelines today at school.
The livestream can still be found on afcschools.net. Instead of going to the You Tube option under AFCHS Sports, you will now need to click on the You Tube option under AFCMS Sports.

High school boys basketball practice for tonight, 2/8, is canceled due to weather conditions.
To watch the 7th and 8th grade boys basketball games on live-stream, you can go to https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/schools/forreston-high-school-forreston-il. There is a subscription fee associated with the NFHS network, but once the monthly or yearly fee is paid, any game broadcast on NFHS can be watched. Many of our conference high schools will be live-streaming via NFHS.
HS girls and boys basketball at Amboy will be broadcast on their youtube channel. That can be accessed by going to amboy.net. Right at top of the page, you will see where to click to get to that channel.
