It is a varsity only contest and begins at 5:30.
The tracks in Franklin Grove are still blocked by a train this afternoon. The only crossings available are at Rockyford Road and in Ashton. Please plan accordingly if you are picking up your children at the Elementary School. A shuttle bus will be available to transport walkers that need to cross the tracks but will not pick them up until around 2:00. We will hold those students at school until the shuttle bus is here to transport them or until a parent picks them up.

For the high school girls' basketball game against Polo tonight, each player is allowed 2 fans. If you are not able to come in person, the game will be live streamed. The live stream can be found on www.afcschools.net in the upper right hand corner of the page. After you click on that option, click on the Youtube option under AFCHS Sports. Watch the Lady Raiders in action starting at 6:00!

HS Football registration is now open on the AFC athletic site, which can be accessed on www.afcschools.net. Click on "athletics" and then "registration". Some already registered in the fall and do not need to register again.
Updated athletic physicals are required for all participants. They can be turned into Mrs. Gittleson if they have not already been turned in for the year.

7th and 8th grade girls' basketball practice begins Monday, March 1. Practice will be in the junior high school gym from 3:00-5:00. All 7th and 8th grade girls wishing to participate in girls basketball should attend practice that day. Athletes should enter door #12 since there is no student attendance that day.
Registration for 7/8 girls basketball is now open on the school's athletic site, which can be accessed from www. afcschools.net. Click "athletics" and then on "registration". If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Gittleson at tgittleson@afcschools.net.
All athletes are required to have an updated physical to participate. Please get updated physical forms to Mrs. Gittleson ASAP if you have not already done so.

7th and 8th grade boys basketball players are allowed 2 fans each for tonight's game. Siblings are only allowed 2 fans total. Tickets did not get handed out to players, but there will be someone at the door checking fans in and taking temps!

AFC "hosted” four schools in our conference who turned in junior high and middle school solos in the categories of woodwinds, brass, percussion, piano, and voice.
