It is with great pride we announce our very own Clover Conner has been accepted to Sauk Valley Community College's Academy for the 2023-2024 school year. Each year SVCC selects high achieving juniors to attend their senior year on campus at SVCC. Dual credit courses, high rigor, service, and leadership will drive Clover's Senior year. A big thank you to Whispering Pines Reindeer Ranch for hosting the Animal Science class today! Students learned all about reindeer, their diets, and behaviors and got to interact with several reindeer.
Due to weather, the JV baseball round robin at Pearl City on Saturday has been canceled. It looks like we will be having our 3rd, maybe 4th winter on Saturday!

2nd Raider of the Week 3/22/23: Congratulations to Zane Murphy for also being named this week's Raider of the Week for track. Zane placed 2nd in the 60 meter dash with a personal record and an new Amboy record. He was on the 4x200 relay which place 2nd and set an Amboy record. He was also part of the 4x400 relay, which place 1st and also set an Amboy record. All of this took place at a track meet at Westwood in Sterling. Zane is the son of Kristy and Chad Murphy. Congratulations to Taylor Jahn for being named to the Sauk Valley Media All-Area Girls Basketball 2nd Team. Taylor finished 10th in the area for points per game (11.5) and 3rd in the area for steals per game (3.4).

Our 19th annual FFA Banquet was held Wednesday night and it was a great night! Many students were recognized and awarded! Our 2nd annual student auction was a huge success!
