We do have enough for a fan bus to the playoff game on Saturday. There are a few seats still available if you would still like to sign up! The bus will leave the high school at 10:00 AM Saturday morning. The only cost is the $5 to get into the game. The bus will most likely stop at a gas station and/or a fast food place as well. Deadline for signing up for the fan bus to the playoff game on Saturday is the end of the school day tomorrow, Thursday, October 27. If there aren't 20 or more signed up, there will be no fan bus.

AFC is offering a fan bus to the playoff game at Milford on Saturday. It will be a school bus that leaves the Jr/Sr High School at 10:00 am. The cost will be admission to the game, which is $5. Jr/Sr High School students can sign up in the office. Any adults can email Mrs. Gittleson at tgittleson@afcschools.net to sign up. If there isn't enough interest, there will be no bus. Come cheer on the Raiders!

Congratulations to Zane Murphy for his selection to Friday Night Drive's (Shaw Local News) week 9 football team of the week. Zane was voted in as a Defensive Back. He had 2 interceptions as well as 122 yards receiving and 1 touchdown against Rockford Christian Life last week. Zane was one of 23 players in northern Illinois to be voted to the team.
Carson Rueff was also up for nomination in the quarterback position. Carson was 10-15 for 212 passing YDS, 5 passing TDs and 48 Rushing YDs with 1 rushing TD.
Way to represent boys and all of the AFC Raiders! Go get 'em on Saturday at Milford!

If you haven't already, consider setting up an eWallet for your child to use during the book fair. Anyone can add funds to their eWallet and they can shop the Book Fair immediately with those funds.

SIX days until the Scholastic Book Fair!
ONE week until the Scholastic Book Fair opens at AFC Elementary!
It's almost SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR time! Our Book Fair will begin on October 31st. A paper with specific dates/times for our Book Fair hours was sent home with your child last week. If you have any questions, please email jburkitt@afcschools.net.
