Meet the Raiders will be held this Friday, 8/20, starting at 6:00 in the high school gym. All of our high school teams will be introduced and our junior high teams will also be recognized. The high school volleyball team will have a short scrimmage following introductions. Both the high school volleyball team and football team will also have a short parent meeting with the respective coaches. Come out to meet our teams and support the Raiders. Masks will be required for all while in the school/gym. We thank you for your cooperation.

This is just a friendly reminder that online registration is open and closes this Friday, August 6th. Please go to afcschools.net and click on Menu, then Skyward Web to complete your student(s)' registration (https://skyward.iscorp.com/scripts/wsisa.dll/WService=wseduashtonfranklinil/seplog01.w ). Any registration not completed by August 6th will incur a $25 late fee. New students incoming to the district will need to fill out paper forms and return to the district office. Forms can be found at afcschools.net. If you have any questions pertaining to online registration, please email them to afcskyward@afcschools.net.

REMINDER!!!
All 6-12 students who intend on participating in Fall Sports, which include Volleyball (6-12), Football (6-12), Golf (HS only) and Cross Country (HS only), need to be registered online. Registration can be found on afcschools.net, menu, athletics, registration. All athletes need an up to date physical before they will be allowed to practice. 6th graders and Freshman are required to have a school physical which is also goof for athletics. Practices for most sports start on Monday, August 9. Practice times will be posted soon. If there are any questions, please direct them to Traci Gittleson at tgittleson@afcschools.net.

Once high school events begin, the athletic department will be looking for people to help out at games. The following will be needed:
HS Football- scoreboard, announcer, and chain gang(4)
HS Volleyball- scoreboard, scorekeeper, and libero tracker
