School safety day was a huge success! Community members came and did an amazing job focusing on important topics like school bus safety, crosswalk/railroad safety, calling 911, ATV / side by side safety, bike safety, stranger danger and an all time favorite from the Franklin Grove fire department featuring fire safety using the Sauk Valley smoke house. Thank you to all the volunteers that gave up their day to prepare our kids on how to safe in all kinds of circumstances!

Mr. Nate Davis from Etnyre visited our Ag Mechanics & Construction class to discuss careers in welding and skilled trades with students. He also spent time in the shop demonstrating welding techniques and working alongside the class. Thank you to Mr. Davis and Etnyre for providing students with valuable hands-on learning experiences and career insight!

Our high school PE classes wrapped up their golf unit with a trip to XGOLF in Sterling. Thank you XGOLF for hosting our high school PE classes!!

Biology students got to enjoy the “sweet” side of science while learning about RNA and protein synthesis! 🍦🧬

By decoding ice cream sundaes, they explored the processes of transcription and translation in a fun and memorable way. It was a great mix of learning and creativity in action!

Pop til you Drop! Join us for a night of popular music performed by our AFC 5th-12th Band and Choir held on May 14 . We hope to see you there!

Congratulations to our 2026 Prom Royalty!

Please join us on Thursday May 7th, 2026 at the AFC Baseball field to honor our 6 senior baseball players and 2 statisticians following the game against Polo. Recognition will start at approximately 6:00pm.

🎨 Creative collaboration across grade levels! We are continuing to showcase how students worked together to turn imagination into reality.

The countdown is ON! ⏳ Join us in celebrating the Class of 2026 as we highlight another group of our amazing seniors. So proud!

👾We continue to showcase the monster collaborations. Elementary students designed the monsters, and high school artists brought them to life in clay, learning from each other every step of the way.
