AFC students attended Manufacturing Day at SVCC. Students visited FN Smith and ED Etnyre and then were at Sauk for the rest of the day. Students were in small groups and built cars from scratch and then raced against each other.
Prom Coronation will be at 5:30p tomorrow in the HS Gym.

Ashton-Franklin Center High School extends its gratitude to Midwest Safe Driver, along with instructors Blake O'Dell and Tony Chiviara, for their valuable contribution as guest speakers in our driver education class on Thursday, April 17th. Their presentation on "Sharing the road with trucks" provided essential insights that are integral to our commitment to delivering high-quality educational experiences in our driver education program.

Today, five students from AFC attended the Education Symposium at Sauk Valley Community College. Students completed a team challenge and attended break-out sessions where they learned more about education. Kaelynn Larson and Ayden Willstead received their Education Pathway Endorsement for completing career focused instruction, professional learning opportunities, and dual-credit. Congratulations!

CONGRATULATIONS, Ayden & Kae! These students earned the Education Pathway Endorsement. The Pathway Endorsement is an acknowledgement of internship hours, college credit courses, and high achievement in school. Future schools, employers, and scholarship donors utilize the endorsement as a verification of our highly dedicated students.
Before the Pathway ceremony, AFC and other area students participated in Education breakout sessions to continue to explore the opportunities available post high school.
